- This print was an illustration to the Gentleman's magazine, January 1792, page 9. It bore the engraved inscription 'Gent.Mag.Jany 1792 Pt.I.p.9.' and was accompanied by a letter on the following page: 'Mr. Urban, Bath, Oct. 6, 1791. I SEND you a sketch (Plate 1.) of St. Mary Redcli_ Church, Bristol, in which parish the Poet Chatterton (of whom so much has been recorded in some former volumes of your valuable Miscellany) was born. I am told his mother is now living '*, and in very distressed circumstances. - Yours, &e. J. ELDERTON. [She died since the date of this letter. See our last supplement. EDIT. GENT. MAG.
