- Inscribed 'No1' in pencil in the upper left-hand corner of the mount. Figures on the shore of Loch Fyne; boats on the water; Inveraray Castle on the left; a bridge at the centre; mountains in the distance. Description on the opposite page and explanation which reads 'This and the eight following prints are taken from Drawings made by Mr Clerk abd are engraved by Robertson for the Edinburgh Magazine published by Sibbard'.

- The printmaker might be identified with Archibald Robertson (1765-1835) a miniature painter printmaker from Aberdeen who emigrated to the United States in 1791.
