- View of the north side of the monumental city square of Madrid shown in elevation from a high vantage point, with a procession of figures on horseback and groups of people watching them and talking in front of the Casa de la Panaderi_a, dedication in a large cartouche along the left border below the arms of Madrid, physical description of the square engraved in another cartouche above a Doric column at the upper right corner, two cartouches with verses in Latin praising Madrid governors at lower right and left, and text mentioning the royal judge Pedro de Tapia and the working schedule of the committee for the reform of the square that he led below. Dedication contains Madrid coat of arms. On three sheets assembled and mounted together.

- According to Jesu_s Escobar, the view was commissioned by the city of Madrid in September 1622 and it might relate to a view of the square painted in oils in the Museo Municipal in Madrid (inv. no. 3152). The contract specified that the print was to be sold at a price of seven reales without illumination and twenty-six reales with. It has been suggested that the print could have belonged to the collection of Cassiano dal Pozzo.
