Description
Two Swedish and British ships sail near the port of Leghorn seen from the West, with sailors rowing on two boats in the foreground, fortifications on both sides of the entrance to the harbour beyond, masts and sails seen above the city walls and town in the background, with Chiesa di Santa Caterina at left and lighthouse (Fanale dei Pisani) at right; within washlines and frame painted in gouache, with inscribed plaque below.
