Additional information
The publication line has been altered. A print from the same plate in the V&A shows that the publication line originally read in engraved letters 'Publish'd according to Act of Parliament June 1746' (item E.743-1955). Additional lettering has been etched and the 1746 changed to 1786: '1786 by J Seago Print Seller High Street St Giles London Price 2s-6d'. James Stewart published the copper plate in 1746 but evidently it was obtained by Seago who took new prints from it in 1786.
Other persons
Stewart, James, Junr., -1769, artist.
