- Additional information
- It is not possible to ascertain from this print whether it was published in 1734 by Samuel and Nathaniel Buck or if it was published in 1774 by Robert Sayer after he purchased the copper plates from the Bucks. If published by the Bucks then it formed their Principal Series of Town Prospects. However, as George III was presented with many new publications, it is perhaps more likely that Robert Sayer presented the print to him in 1774 rather than the King acquiring or inheriting the 1734 print.
