- Inscribed 'N45 in the upper left-hand corner of the mount. Trees and a building in the foreground; the River Forth streching across the middle ground; Stirling in the distance on the left; mountians to the right. Etched with title, initials and date in the upper right-hand corner.

- With a description of the scene on the facing page in brown ink. Donated to George III in 1786. Part of a volume of prints and drawings by John Clerk of Eldin together with manuscript descriptions for each and a letter to George III by David Erskine, 11th Earl of Buchan. Some of the etchings were hand-tinted by Robert Adam.
