Three views of different parts of the waterfront at Ancona, with a segment of the new antemural or breakwater, showing a pile of debris ripped out of the wall by the sea at upper left, a ruined landing in front of the Palunci gate at upper right and the damage caused by the sea around Sant' Agostino gate below; key and explanatory text with each view.

Bound in volume with index preceding drawings and prints numbered 1-115 (page no. 48). Probably from the collection of Cardinal Albani, acquired for George III by James Adam in 1762. This is one of eight drawings in the same volume, all depicting different aspects of the port at Ancona with annotations in the same hand. No. 44 is signed 'Dom.co Pruzzini Arch.to' and no. 53 is dated '18 April 1659 in Ancona'.
