Plan of part of the Pontifical Palace in the Vatican fitted up for the Cardinals forming the conclave after the death of Innocent X in 1655, when Alexander VII [Fabio Chigi] was elected Pope, with index of names and numbers of rooms arranged around three courtyards behind the Cortile del Belvedere at left and the Cortile del Palazzo Nuovo at right; drawn on a scale of 40 [canne?] to an inch at right.

Bound in volume with index and drawings mounted on pages numbered 1-115 (page no. 7). According to McPhee (2008), Drei produced this drawing of the Conclave Plan during the election of Alexander VII Chigi in his role as Architect to the Chapter of Saint Peter's, to which he had been appointed in 1650 to replace Giacomo Mola.
