The South fac'ade of the Cathedral is here depicted after the replacement of the original Gothic rose window, damaged as a consequence of the Lisbon earthquake in 1755, with a Baroque window. This part of the fac'ade was rebuilt again in the nineteenth-century, this time in a Neogothic style.
