- Inscribed 'N50' in the upper left-hand corner of the mount. A horse and rider and figures on the shore in the foreground; ships on the water to the left; the harbour of Leith in the middle ground; trees on the right. Etched with title in the upper right hand corner.

- With a description of the scene on the facing page in brown ink. Donated to George III in 1786. Part of a volume of prints and drawings by John Clerk of Eldin together with manuscript descriptions for each and a letter to George III by David Erskine, 11th Earl of Buchan. Some of the etchings were hand-tinted by Robert Adam.
