Description
A man and a woman seen from behind stand in the foreground looking at the town of Fort-Royal seen beyond a forest, with a boat moored by the bay at left, sailing ships near Fort Saint Louis at middle left, barrels piled up in the waterfront and houses in the middle, with army warehouses, river, bridge and hills at right in the background; key to print below. Title contains coat of arms of Louis XVI's sister-in-law. Watermark.
