- Description
- The statue of George III at Weymouth, the figure full-length, slightly turned to the left, with one hand on his hip and the other holding his sceptre, dressed in his robes of state over his frockcoat and breeches with the star and chain of the Garter, his sword at his side, a sideboard behind him with the crown, standard, books and an armorial, upon a tall pedestal lettered 'The grateful inhabitants to George the Third on his entering the 5oth Year of His Reign', a lion and a unicorn on either side surrounded by railings.
