Description
Arched doorway leading to the Chiostro Palladiano of the Monastery of San Giorgio Maggiore, with console as keystone decoration between paired Corinthian columns supporting entablature and pediment at left; at right, access from the square to the monastic buildings attached to the cloister through arched doorway with console as keystone decoration, geometrical motifs in the spandrels and Corinthian columns supporting a segmental pediment decorated with dentils; each doorway with its plan and scale.
