Additional information
In the account of Joseph Henry's collection in Dublin that appeared in his book A Tour in Ireland in 1775, Richard Twiss singled out 'several pictures representing views in and around Naples, Aranjuez, Madrid, &c., painted by Antonio Jolli, in 1750. Among these is a bull-fight; the painter engraved a plate of it for Mr. Henry' (pp. 24-25). Twiss probably meant that Joli had the plate engraved for him, possibly by his usual collaborator Filippo Morghen (1730-c. 1807).
Other persons
Henry, Joseph, 1727-1796, dedicatee.
