- A print from the same plate is in the British Museum 1917,1208.4295. The British Museum's comment reads: The 'Scenographia Americana' was a series of twenty-eight plates of views of North America and the West Indies, published by John Bowles, Thomas Jefferys, Robert Sayer and Henry Parker in 1768. Several of the plates had been published before: for example, Thomas Pownall published six in the series 'Six Remarkable Views in the Provinces of New-York, New-Jersey, and Pennsylvania in North America' in 1761. An expanded series of seventy-four prints later appeared under the same title'.
