- Benjamin Hubble (died 1780) was the builder of St. Leonard's House which was later known as the 'Manor House' and then 'Douce's Manor') in St. Leonards Street, West Malling 1738. The house passed on to Thomas Augustus Douce (died 1802). The drawing is taken from the ground of St Leonard's House.
