- A bay curving out to the left with white cliffs; a fort on the left flying the union jack; corps of soldiers drawn up on the beach facing the sea and gathered in a round battery in the foreground and in the bushes behind it; officers on horseback riding on the ridge. Title broken by coat of arms.
