Description
A plan of the Abbey of St Albans; a drawing depicting the construction of a wall. Inscribed with title and date in brown ink at centre of drawing. Inscribed 'The Manor of building of the walls of Veralum' below the drawing of the wall. Signed in brown ink in lower right-hand corner. Bears inscription in later hand in brown ink 'The Ground Plot of the Abby of St Albans by Stukeley 1719' along lower edge.
