- St Dunstan in-the-East was a church in the City of London which was badly damaged by the Fire of 1666. The church was patch-repaired and in 1695-1701 the spire was rebuilt based on designs by Sir Christopher Wren. This drawing is likely to be from the studio of Wren and bears similarities to the style of Nicholas Hawksmoor who was working for Wren from 1684.
