This series was advertised in 'THE MONTHLY EPITOME CATALOGUE OF NEW PUBLICATIONS', January-December 1798, Vol. II, London 1799, page 439, as being 12 pounds, 12 shillings (12 guineas) for the hand-coloured set. The original drawing by Anburey on which this print is based is in the Yale Centre for British Art B1977.14.6090.
