- Green grass in the foreground; the gothic ruins of the Prior's House and chapel of Beaurepaire or Bear Park, built by Prior Bertram (1244-58), later destroyed by the Scots and rebuilt, C.1346, by Prior Fosser. Signed in black ink in the lower left-hand corner. Inscribed with date and title on verso in black ink. Inscribed '77' in brown ink in lower right-hand corner outside washline mount.
