Annotation in brown ink on verso: 'pietro Beloti'.

- One of five drawings formerly believed to be by Canaletto (see A. P. Oppe_, English Drawings, Stuart and Georgian Periods, in the Collection of H. M. the King at Windsor, London, 1951, pp. 9-10); attributed to Bellotto by F. J. B. Watson in 1953. They are all annotated 'Lucca' in brown ink and numbered in pencil.
