View of the Temple of Portunus, formerly believed to be the Temple of Fortuna Virilis, in the Forum Boarium in Rome, with figures trading and carrying goods in the foreground and Temple of Hercules Victor in the background at right; on mount with wash lines numbered '101' and artists' names in black ink at bottom left.

From a series of seven prints, possibly published as part of Vues de Rome et de ses environs (Rome, 1780). A further eight views by the same artists were transferred to the British Museum in 1952 (see BM 1952,0403.1 to 1952,0403.8).
