- A boat on the left-hand side; the town of Kingston on the right-hand side; a church spire and buildings on the right; Lake Ontario in the centre of the scene. Inscribed with title in black ink below image and on verso. Mounted on laid paper together with Maps K.Top.119.15.b. Paper bears indistinct watermark dated. Together with a title page:

- This group of birchbark drawings at Maps K.Top.119.15. were given to King George III by the Simcoes in October 1796. Elizabeth Simcoe drew on the darker interior of the birchbark rather than the paler exterior. It is probable that this set was conceived of and made as a group possibly with the intention of presenting them to George III, rather than as a series of sketches made at differing points during the Simcoe
