Description
A monochrome drawing of a fountain mounted on four legs. The top of the fountain crowned with a hare and a ring. Inscribed with title in black ink long upper edge. Inscribed 'Rebus on the name' and 'Hare-ring-ton' in black ink on the left-hand-side. Extensively inscribed in pencil on verso.

Additional information
This work bears distinct stylistic similarities to works by Samuel Hieronymus Grimm. Grimm made a watercolour entitled 'Dr Harrington's House At Kelston, From The Upper Bristol Road' dated 1789 which is in the manuscripts department at the British Library Additional MS 15547. Grimm also made a drawing of the fountain which is in the PR Kaye Collection at All Soul's College, Oxford.
