- Houses in Nettuno overlooking the sea seen beyond a wall with the skirting made of large flints and section of the foundations of the intended sea wall consisting of five vertical layers, including an outer layer of stones encased within wooden logs, next to smaller stones, and small pieces of wood mixed with straw at left; Tyrrhenian Sea and key to the index within laurel wreath at right; title within cartouche above.

- Bound in one of the three volumes of drawings by Carlo Fontana formerly in the collection of Cardinal Albani, acquired by James Adam for George III in 1762 and later transferred to his Geographical Collections. The drawings are preceded by a blank page annotated: 'Drawn Sketches of Civita Vecchia, its ancient Buildings & Neighbouring Country by Fontana 1694'. Probably made in connection with 'the short unillustrated book [Fontana] published in 1710 on Porto d'Anzio, Antio e sue Antichita_".
