- A crowd of spectators stand on top of a ruined bridge to watch the arrival of the Embassy, with more figures climbing to blocks of stone in the Hai River and to two sailing ships; cottages in the background. Signed with initials at bottom left. Pasted on mount with washline.

- Described as 'A broken bridge at Sancianwey with a number of figures' in manuscript notes bound with the drawings. Many images in this series were reproduced in Sir George Staunton's Narrative of the Embassy, published in 1797. Related drawings in Paul Mellon Collection (Yale Center for British Art, acc. no.
