- Women and a child in formal gardens; a man bringing flowers to them on the right; a building on the left; flowers and bushed at the edges of the garden; an extensive landscape stretching to the horizon. Signed and dates in black ink in the lower left-hand corner. Inscribed with title in black ink on verso. The watercolour is on wove paper but a strip of laid paper has been attached along the lower edge.
