- This drawing and that at Maps K.Top.8.81.b. might be by Maria Cotton (1790-1871), Anne Cotton (1793-1807) or Philadelphia Cotton (born 1795) who were daughters of Sir Charles Cotton (1753-1812) who owned Madingley Park until it was passed on to his son, Sir St Vincent Cotton (1801-1863), in 1812. This drawing is on wove paper which makes it likely to date from the time when the three Cotton daughters were young girls or teenagers.
